Where institute setup projects usually get stuck
The approval route is chosen late, so documents and timelines are redone.
The DPR is written for the regulator or the bank, but never answers the trustees' own question: will this institute fill and sustain itself?
NSDC training partner registration and Sector Skill Council (SSC) affiliation are treated as paperwork, when each needs trainers, infrastructure and curriculum already in place.
Staff are hired before roles, KRAs and a performance system exist, so the institute opens without a clear way to manage its people.

Dr. Sagar Burse holds a PhD in Management and advises higher-education and skill institutions in Gujarat. Every SBC engagement is led by him personally, so you speak to the person doing the work.
Before founding SBC in 2025, he worked on institution-building engagements for a public university, a public-sector centre of excellence and a private university, as part of the advisory teams he was employed with.

How long does it take to set up a skill training centre and get NSDC affiliation?
It depends on the type of centre, the sector and the state process, so we do not quote one standard number. The fixed-fee diagnostic gives you a written timeline for your specific route before you commit to the full project.
How do you charge for institute setup consulting?
We start with a fixed-fee diagnostic. After that, the fee for the full project is quoted against a written scope, so you know what is included before you proceed.
Do you work only with skill institutes, or with colleges as well?
Both. We work with skill development centres and training partners, and with trusts planning a new college or adding programmes. The route differs: NSDC and Sector Skill Councils for skilling; state authorities, AICTE or UGC for colleges. We start by confirming which route applies to you.
Can you guarantee approval or affiliation?
No. Approval decisions are made by the regulator or the affiliating body. We prepare the application, the documentation and the sequence so that it is complete and correct.
